We are currently looking for a Legal Assistant to join our of our Client's Teams.
Responsibilities
• Provide day to day administrative support to assigned professionals, managing workflow and prioritizing multiple projects.
• Prepare, revise, and proofread documents with strong attention to detail and accuracy while meeting deadlines.
• Coordinate schedules including meetings, calendar updates, and travel arrangements.
• Assist with general administrative financial tasks such as preparing standard billing materials and tracking routine updates.
• Support new matter and file processes including intake, document organization, and maintaining accurate records.
• Manage incoming and outgoing mail and electronic communications while ensuring materials are complete and properly routed.
• Maintain contacts, track routine professional requirements, and support general administrative needs.
• Collaborate with team members to share workload, participate in team discussions, and exchange best practices.
• Utilize workflow and document management tools to track and complete assigned tasks.
• Demonstrate proficiency in handling confidential information, document preparation, e filing tasks, scheduling support, and standard administrative processes.
• Operate office equipment and maintain a calm and professional demeanor when managing competing priorities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED.
• Three to five years of administrative experience in a legal or similarly structured professional environment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Minimum typing speed of 60 wpm.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
Preferred Qualifications
• Two year degree.
• Experience supporting legal or professional services teams.
• Prior transcription experience.
• One to three years supporting senior level professionals or managing a high volume calendar.
• Strong skills in process coordination and information management.
