Adaptive Solutions Group is a premier provider of information technology personnel. We provide a variety of technical professionals available for contract, contract to hire, or direct placement positions to companies in and around the St. Louis, Kansas City, and Denver Areas.

 

We are currently looking for an IT Specialist to join our team.

 

Position Responsibilities
  • Implement, administer and maintain the required internal infrastructure to support effective and efficient company operations. To include:
    • Website management
    • Networking – Firewall, Switches, Wireless Connectivity, DHCP, DNS, VPN Concentrator access and remote connectivity
    • Servers – Physical servers, SAN and VM Environment internal and external
    • Hardware – Laptops, Desktops, Printers, Televisions, Monitors, Tablets, All-in-One Touch Screen PC’ s, and Barcode Scanners
    • Salesforce management
    • Domain Management – Active Directory, Group Policy, Patch Management, File Server Management, Exchange PowerShell management, SSL, FTP, Backups, and Antivirus/Antispam
    • VoIP phone system 
    • Create and maintain the PC imaging environments
    • Software – Support and License management
    • Internal process documentation / knowledge sharing between departments
    • Research and Development of hardware and software
    • Third Party Product Hardware (Test Infrastructure)
    • Desktop and Server Applications
  • Development assistance for all IT User Manuals, Guides, Standards and Processes
  • Provide internal technical support for all internal user troubles or requests
  • Provide Tier III support for all escalated hardware and software issues
  • Implement, maintain and support all internal facilities. This will include the following:
    • Physical Infrastructure (such as room design changes, etc.)
    • Network cabling
    • Door lock system
  • Preventive and corrective maintenance for all hardware and software as required
  • After hours on call support (internal and client)
  • Perform such other duties as reasonably directed by the IT Supervisor, Client Information Systems Manager, Director, Operations and Project Management Office, or a corporate officer of Applied Logic

 

Qualifications
  • BS in Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology, or related technical subjects or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of direct experience in Information Technology implementation, administration and support.  
  • 2-5 years direct internal and external trouble shooting of customer support issues.
  • Networking Experience (2-5 years)
  • Salesforce or other CRM Administration (2-5 years)
  • Server Management Experience (2-5 years)
  • Applications Support Experience (2-5 years)
  • VoIP Phone System Administration (2-5 years)
  • Desktop and OS Support (2-5 years)
  • Customer Support Experience (2-5 years)
  • Ability to work as an unbiased team member in an ever-changing environment
  • Extremely strong diagnostic and discovery skills
