We are currently looking for an IT Release Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities
Organizes assigned activities across applications, teams and/or projects; accountable for dependency management within the scope of assigned release components.
Collaborate with team members to ensure execution of release adheres to the plan and timeline.
Maintains release documentation and archives; stays abreast of future IT maintenance activities.
Partners with team members to understand the release plan and assign components.
Practices adherence to the organization's release and change management processes, policies and procedures.
Conducts and participates in post-release reviews to determine the effectiveness of various processes throughout the execution of the release; may lead post-release reviews with guidance.
Implements process improvement measures.
Communicates information related to assigned release components to internal teams, and at times, external sponsors.
Tracks progress and reports to internal team, and external sponsors when needed.
Ensures documentation is accurate.
Sources and coordinates assigned resources throughout various components of the release; works with internal team to recommend additional resource needs.
Collaborate with vendors and/or customers throughout execution of tasks and activities.
Builds and analyzes supporting material applicable to assigned initiatives.
Shares and apply findings to related components.
Protects our customers, our employees, and our brands by incorporating security and compliance in all decisions and daily job responsibilities; follows security policies and procedures.
Maintains established service level agreements to manage customer expectations and quality standards.
Assists with task automation and process improvements as directed.
Required Qualifications
3+ years of professional experience in project management: defining and executing project plans, identifying resources required, establishing timelines, and monitoring assigned tasks
Experience leading the planning, coordination, deployment, and monitoring of hardware installations and upgrades
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Microsoft Outlook, e-mail accounts, and their relationship to Exchange Services
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; experience interfacing with all levels within an organization
Experience with creating and updating technical documentation
Commitment to providing superb customer service
Must be results-oriented
A flexible and adaptable orientation is required within our dynamic work environment
Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects at once, while meeting deadlines and remaining calm and cool under pressure
Documents tickets according to departmental standards with an appropriate level of detail
Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred
Experience installing and configuring wired and wireless LAN connected hardware, network communications equipment, software, and peripherals at remote and corporate campus facilities
Experience leading a team and large projects preferred
