We are currently looking for an IT Project Manager to join the team. Responsibilities
Guide and coach the Scrum Team on how to use Agile practices and principles to deliver high-quality products and services.
Drive projects through the project life cycle tracking progress, escalating issues and coordinating resources with management.
Schedule, facilitate, and support all scrum events:
Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective, etc.
Anticipate, identify, and escalate risks/impediments affecting self, team, department, or company.
Help the team achieve their commitments and when problems are identified work with the team to develop corrective actions.
Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information.
Look for and suggest improvements in efficiencies to reduce costs and be responsible and accountable.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices, and participating in professional societies.
Required Qualifications:
2-4 years of Project Management (Agile & Waterfall Methodology)
Bachelor’s degree in IT or business-related studies
Certifications for the first level: CSM, PMI-ACP, PMP, PSM
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
Oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multitask.
Preferred Requirements:
Certifications for the second level: A-CSM, PSM-II/III, CSP, CTC
Local to the Kansas City metro
