IT Project Manager III

We are currently seeking an IT Project Manager III to join a client team.
Responsibilities
Independently define, plan, and manage the scope, schedule, and delivery of large and complex technology projects.
Lead high impact initiatives to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with defined objectives.
Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, work breakdown structures, and resource strategies for complex engagements.
Manage internal and external resources, including vendors and third party partners.
Oversee project budgets, track expenditures, and review invoices for accuracy and compliance.
Anticipate and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and scope changes, developing mitigation and contingency plans as needed.
Apply established project management methodologies and standards to ensure quality and consistency.
Facilitate recurring project status meetings and communicate progress to stakeholders.
Provide leadership and guidance to project team members, removing barriers and enabling productivity.
Support demand planning and prioritization activities across multiple initiatives.
Lead change management activities, including stakeholder readiness, communication planning, and user engagement.
Contribute to the development and improvement of project management processes, tools, and best practices.
Promote collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement across project teams.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Four to eight years of experience managing technology focused projects.
Proven experience developing project plans, schedules, and work breakdown structures.
Experience using structured project management methodologies and tools.
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and influence outcomes.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross functional teams.
Authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
Project management certification.
Experience managing large scale or enterprise level initiatives.
Familiarity with change management principles and practices.
Experience working with both internal teams and external vendors.
