Engineering Manager
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead architecture, engineering delivery, and team development across a dynamic product data ecosystem. This hands-on technical leadership role blends deep architectural expertise with Agile delivery and team mentorship, driving modernization and scalability across platforms.
Responsibilities
Architecture & Technical Leadership
Lead architectural planning, design reviews, and modernization initiatives.
Serve as a strategic and hands-on architect for complex systems.
Align solutions with modern principles including SOA, API-first, and event-driven design.
Optimize performance and cost within cloud environments.
Agile Delivery Leadership
Champion Agile practices to ensure consistent sprint execution and backlog management.
Translate roadmap priorities into actionable user stories.
Use delivery metrics to drive continuous improvement.
Team Leadership & Development
Manage and mentor a blended team of internal and external engineers.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and learning.
Set clear goals and support career development.
Continuous Improvement & Governance
Drive initiatives for tech debt reduction, CI/CD optimization, and test automation.
Strengthen build automation and deployment reliability.
Monitor performance metrics and ensure compliance with security and architecture standards.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
10+ years of progressive software engineering experience.
3+ years in engineering management or technical leadership.
Strong expertise in Microsoft/Azure stack (.NET Core, Web API, Azure Functions, Cosmos DB, Azure SQL, Service Bus, Event Grid, App Services).
Proficiency with Azure DevOps (CI/CD, IaC) and Agile tools (Jira, Confluence).
Proven success leading architecture and Agile transformation initiatives.
Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience transitioning teams toward product-focused technology management.
Hands-on architectural design leadership.
Familiarity with cross-functional team structures and vendor collaboration.
