Job Description
Adaptive Solutions Group is a premier provider of information technology personnel. We provide a variety of technical professionals available for contract, contract to hire, or direct placement positions to companies in and around the Kansas City and St. Louis areas.
We are currently looking for an IT Director to join our team.

We are currently looking for an IT Director to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate effective leadership in guiding staff to accomplishing all IT projects and meeting customer service goals.
- Create and apply IT policies that take individual needs into consideration, while also mindful to possible burdens imposed on the business.
- Responsible for the Company’s information security; constantly evaluating and advising on changes that recognize the cost-benefit of different approaches.
- Ensuring that Company technology resources are being used efficiently to their fullest capabilities intended by providing or working with others to provide training and documentation as needed.
- Establishing and monitoring an IT annual and long-term budget that maximizes the Company’s return on its investment in hardware, software and human capital.
- Overseeing the development and execution of department goals and objectives to support the Company’s growth plan.
- Working closely with the Business Analyst and business development teams on support for their applications and services within both the development and production environment.
- Be proactive, challenging as an integrated part of the leadership team by bringing ideas and approaches to the table that are in alignment with overall Company goals.
- Manage enterprise operating systems, security and applications.
- Develop project plans and requirements, delegate project tasks, provide status reports to executive leadership, and act as a technical resource when needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT or business-related field, strongly preferred.
- 8 years in an IT operations group/department; 5 or more years of managing others.
