Employee Relations Partner II

We are seeking an Employee Relations Partner II to join our team. This role serves as a trusted advisor to employees and people leaders by providing guidance, support, and practical solutions related to employee relations and performance management. The ideal candidate demonstrates sound judgment, empathy, and strong communication skills while promoting consistent and compliant HR practices across the organization.
Responsibilities
Serve as a primary point of contact for employee relations and performance management matters.
Provide guidance and support to employees and leaders on workplace concerns, policies, and best practices.
Conduct confidential employee relations investigations and manage sensitive issues with discretion and professionalism.
Facilitate exit interviews, transfer interviews, and related employee lifecycle processes.
Support policy interpretation, application, and compliance across the organization.
Prepare clear and accurate documentation related to employee relations cases and outcomes.
Facilitate or support training sessions related to employee relations, performance management, and workplace conduct.
Promote fair, consistent, and inclusive workplace practices aligned with organizational values.
Maintain strict confidentiality when handling employee information and investigations.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a Human Resources role.
At least 2 years of experience handling confidential and sensitive employee relations matters.
Strong critical thinking, analytical, and written communication skills.
High level of empathy and interpersonal awareness when supporting complex employee situations.
Ability to make fair, consistent recommendations while balancing employee needs and business objectives.
Ability to work primarily onsite within a regional office environment.
Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting employee relations in a corporate or multi-site environment.
Working knowledge of U.S. employment laws and HR best practices related to performance management and workplace conduct.
Experience documenting investigations, findings, and resolutions.
HR certification such as SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent.
Demonstrated ability to coach managers and employees through complex workplace situations.
