Patient Services Representative
Adaptive Solutions Group is a premier provider of information technology personnel. We provide a variety of technical professionals for contract, contract-to-hire, and direct placement positions with companies throughout the St. Louis and Kansas City areas.
ASG is seeking a Patient Services Representative to join our team.
Responsibilities
Support a patient-first experience from intake through order processing and delivery coordination
Receive and process new referrals, gathering demographic, medical, and insurance information
Manage case documentation to ensure records are complete, accurate, and properly maintained
Communicate with patients, caregivers, internal teams, and external partners through phone, email, CRM systems, and other platforms
Review documentation, verify benefits, and support prior authorization and utilization review activities
Coordinate recertifications, appeals, and case rework as needed
Collaborate with internal teams and outside providers to support timely coverage, fulfillment, and service delivery
Handle inbound and outbound communication, document interactions, and escalate urgent issues when appropriate
Maintain organized records of case activity, service updates, and required documentation
Follow established processes and quality standards to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely case progression
Identify issues proactively and escalate concerns to improve operational efficiency and service outcomes
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
1+ years of experience in customer service, operations support, healthcare support, or a related environment preferred
Experience using CRM systems, email platforms, and standard business software such as Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management abilities
Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information appropriately
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Ability to review documentation, follow process steps carefully, and move cases through multiple stages of completion
Preferred Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
Experience with insurance verification, authorizations, or benefits review processes
Familiarity with Salesforce, Epic, or similar case management and documentation systems
Experience working with Medicare, Medicaid, or other regulated coverage programs
Background in healthcare operations, patient support, case processing, or a similarly regulated administrative environment
Knowledge of compliance-driven workflows and documentation standards
