Grid Systems Consultant
Adaptive Solutions Group is a premier provider of information technology personnel. We provide a variety of technical professionals available for contract, contract to hire, or direct placement positions to companies in and around the St. Louis and Kansas City areas.

We are currently seeking a Grid Systems Consultant to join a client team.
Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery and implementation of enterprise operational systems under the guidance of senior team members.

  • Assist with system commissioning, testing, and deployment activities following established processes and best practices.

  • Participate in troubleshooting, system support, and project coordination efforts to optimize system performance.

  • Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements to support solution design and configuration.

  • Contribute to project planning, scheduling, and execution activities, including milestone tracking and status reporting.

  • Support analysis, design, build, configuration, testing, and deployment activities throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Assist with defect triage, issue resolution, and post-deployment support.

  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, project deliverables, and stakeholder presentations.

  • Support workshops, meetings, and training sessions with stakeholders.

  • Assist with change management and business process design initiatives.

  • Participate in software evaluation and selection activities, including requirements definition and vendor assessments.

  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support project delivery and team objectives.
Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

  • Eight or more years of experience supporting enterprise operational or management systems.

  • Experience working on system implementation or integration projects.

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to influence project outcomes and contribute to execution efforts.

  • Experience working with multiple project delivery methodologies.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a client facing or cross functional environment.

  • Authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting complex, large scale system implementations.

  • Familiarity with enterprise platforms related to operations, monitoring, or asset management.

  • Experience with both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.

  • Exposure to business process transformation or modernization initiatives.

  • Willingness to support travel requirements as needed.
