ASG is seeking an End User Support Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities
Provide technical assistance and issue resolution with a strong emphasis on customer support, teamwork, and urgency
Image, configure, install, repair, and upgrade computer systems and perform routine maintenance
Troubleshoot hardware and technical incidents across end-user environments
Update and resolve tickets assigned individually or through team support queues, ensuring timely resolution and communication
Provide technical support to users both in person and remotely
Maintain inventory of devices and track assignment of equipment to end users
Resolve support requests through the IT ticketing system while meeting service expectations and documentation standards
Deliver a high level of customer support through clear and detailed ticket documentation
Assist users with installation of approved software packages based on licensing and access requirements
Perform new hire workstation setups and support office or department equipment moves
Partner with other IT support teams and service owners to resolve more complex technical issues
Provide accurate information regarding IT products, services, and availability
Follow up with users and provide updates on request status and next steps
Document resolution steps for recurring issues within the knowledge base
Review and update outdated support documentation as needed
Participate in problem management and change management processes when required
Provide basic audiovisual hardware troubleshooting and on-site presentation support as needed
Required Qualifications
Experience providing end-user technical support in a professional IT environment
Strong troubleshooting skills related to desktops, laptops, peripherals, and general hardware issues
Experience imaging, configuring, installing, and upgrading computer equipment
Experience working within a ticketing system to manage and resolve support requests
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in person and remotely
Ability to manage inventory and maintain accurate equipment records
Strong written documentation skills for ticket updates and knowledge base articles
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced support environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with ServiceNow or similar IT service management platforms
Experience supporting software installations, workstation deployments, and office moves
Familiarity with knowledge base maintenance, problem management, and change management processes
Experience providing basic AV or conference room technology support
