Adaptive Solutions Group is a premier provider of information technology personnel. We provide a variety of technical professionals available for contract, contract to hire, or direct placement positions to companies in and around the Kansas City and St. Louis areas.
We are currently looking for a Director- Technology Governance to join our team.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive technology governance framework that supports the company’s strategic goals and compliance needs.
Define and enforce technology policies, standards, and procedures to minimize risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of governance initiatives.
Lead the technology risk management process, including risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate governance practices into technology projects and operations.
Provide expert guidance to technology teams on governance and compliance matters.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to continually evolve governance efforts.
Required Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree is preferred.
Experience: At least 5 years of experience in technology governance, risk management, or compliance. Strong knowledge of frameworks like COBIT and ITIL, as well as regulations such as GDPR, is essential.
Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
Certifications: Relevant certifications (CISM, CGEIT, CRISC) are preferred but not mandatory.
Industry Experience: Experience in the Railcar Leasing and Repair industry is a plus but not required.
