We are currently looking for a Director- Technology Governance to join our team.

We are currently looking for a Director- Technology Governance to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive technology governance framework that supports the company’s strategic goals and compliance needs.
- Define and enforce technology policies, standards, and procedures to minimize risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of governance initiatives.
- Lead the technology risk management process, including risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate governance practices into technology projects and operations.
- Provide expert guidance to technology teams on governance and compliance matters.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to continually evolve governance efforts.
Required Qualifications
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in technology governance, risk management, or compliance. Strong knowledge of frameworks like COBIT and ITIL, as well as regulations such as GDPR, is essential.
- Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications (CISM, CGEIT, CRISC) are preferred but not mandatory.
- Industry Experience: Experience in the Railcar Leasing and Repair industry is a plus but not required.
