Job Description


Adaptive Solutions Group is a premier provider of information technology personnel. We provide a variety of technical professionals available for contract, contract to hire, or direct placement positions to companies in and around the Kansas City and St. Louis areas.

We are currently looking for a Director, Security Operations to join our team.


Responsibilities
  • Under administrative direction, leads and supervises vendor-partners to deliver consistent high quality security operations include firewall management, intrusion detection, security incident monitoring services, and others.
  • Creates and manages the related service roadmaps, ensuring prioritization and coordination across ITS and vendor-partner functional teams with supportable and predictable financial expectations.
  • Oversee all IT security operations services that are currently provided by an outsourced partner. Service includes:
    • Security Incident Monitoring Services
    • Intrusion Detection Services
    • Firewall, Proxy, Cloud Based Email & Web Protection services
    • Managed Integrity services
    • Compliance Services

  • In-depth business knowledge and technical expertise
  • Knowledge and experience with IT security operations

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, computer science, information systems, related field; supplemented with ten (10) years of related experience with increasingly complex leadership and management responsibilities in an information technology operations environment, preferably in higher education.
