DevOps Engineer

We are currently seeking a DevOps Engineer to join a client team.

We are currently seeking a DevOps Engineer to join a client team.
Responsibilities

Analyze, design, develop, test, configure, and maintain software solutions and system enhancements.

Design, develop, test, debug, and implement application components, tools, and utilities.

Support performance testing and system monitoring to ensure availability and efficiency.

Implement and monitor system improvements to enhance reliability and scalability.
-
Create and maintain technical documentation related to testing, quality assurance, troubleshooting, and system operations.

Work across multiple modules or projects to support application and infrastructure needs.
-
Implement and test moderately complex code changes to resolve defects and enhance functionality.
-
Contribute to new software development and future release enhancements.

Configure and support on premise and cloud based environments.
-
Troubleshoot and resolve software and system issues within assigned components.

Assist with monitoring issues and escalations requiring moderate technical expertise.

Review requirements and research alternative technical solutions.

Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into integration and connectivity solutions.
-
Design and support APIs, integrations, interfaces, and shared services.

Work within Agile development environments, participating in peer programming and test driven development practices.

Assist other team members with integration design and implementation.
-
Participate in after hours support, upgrades, or system implementations as needed.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Two or more years of relevant experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or software development.

Experience working with cloud platforms and infrastructure automation tools.

Strong understanding of software development life cycle practices.
-
Experience with source control systems.
-
Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
-
Familiarity with infrastructure as code and container orchestration concepts.
-
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
-
Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
-
Authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements.

Five or more years of experience supporting cloud based platforms and DevOps tooling.
-
Experience with automation, configuration management, and container technologies.
-
Knowledge of monitoring, alerting, and logging tools.
-
Understanding of networking concepts and secure coding practices.
-
Experience translating technical concepts for non technical audiences.
-
Relevant cloud or DevOps certifications.
