We are seeking a Data Integration Engineer for a contract position opening in the coming weeks. This role will work closely with an established data engineering team to support and enhance data integrations across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and strong at solving data engineering problems in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain data integrations and pipelines

Develop and maintain Python-based data processing solutions

Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries in Oracle and PostgreSQL

Use GitHub for version control and collaboration
-
Utilize command line tools and bash scripting to support data workflows

Partner with team members to diagnose and resolve data integration issues
-
Support data ingestion and transformation into BigQuery
Required Qualifications

Strong proficiency in Python

Experience using GitHub for source control

Familiarity with command line tools and bash scripting

Solid experience with Oracle SQL and PostgreSQL

Proven data engineering problem-solving skills

Hands-on experience with Google BigQuery
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Airflow, Composer, or Astronomer

Experience with Talend
