ServiceNow Software Developer
Adaptive Solutions Group is a premier provider of information technology personnel. We provide a variety of technical professionals available for contract, contract to hire, or direct placement positions to companies in and around the St. Louis and Kansas City areas.
We are currently seeking a ServiceNow Software Developer to join a client team.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and customize applications and workflows on a service management platform.
Write and maintain client side and server side scripts to support platform functionality.
Design and implement automation and workflow solutions.
Customize forms, fields, and user interface elements to improve usability and efficiency.
Build and maintain integrations with external systems using APIs.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable technical solutions.
Ensure adherence to development standards, governance, and best practices.
Support platform upgrades, patching, and ongoing system maintenance.
Develop custom applications using platform development tools.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
Maintain documentation related to configurations, customizations, and integrations.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Two or more years of experience developing on a service management or workflow platform.
Strong understanding of platform architecture, scripting, and automation capabilities.
Proficiency with JavaScript and platform specific APIs.
Familiarity with Agile or Scrum delivery methodologies.
Knowledge of service management processes and best practices.
Strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non technical stakeholders.
Authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
Professional certification related to platform development.
Experience supporting service management modules or related functionality.
Exposure to systems integration and API development.
Prior experience in platform administration or support roles.
Experience working in enterprise environments.
