We are currently looking for a Database Administrator to join our team.
Duties and Responsibilities
Query analysis and tuning
Schema, index, and statistics analysis and design
Development and implementation of site performance analytics
Work with application developers on stored procedure development and performance improvement
Troubleshoot internal and external customer systems
Learn the latest SQL Server technology to assist in keeping products up to date.
Learn and keep current with relevant security concerns.
Participate in the on-call support rotation for issues escalated from the top tier of the Customer Service department.
BS or equivalent degree from accredited University
Previous experience with relational databases and SQL
Basic Windows Server administration experience a plus
PowerShell knowledge a plus
Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Able to work independently or within a technical team
Able to handle multiple responsibilities and shift priorities as production and development needs change
