We are currently looking for a Data Warehouse Architect  to join our team.


  • Work across the organization to design data driven solutions that focus on fulfilling stakeholders’ needs.
  • Translate business needs into industry standard feasible and acceptable data centric semantic layer designs, including but not limited to Data Lake, ODS, data mart, and data warehouse systems.
  • Document and present relationships between business entities.
  • Participate in discussions to prioritize and balance technical and business needs of the conceptual and logical data warehouse.
  • Architect physical data models.
  • Architect and document 3NF integration layer (normalized) of the data warehouse.
  • Architect and document dimensional presentation layer (de-normalized) of the data warehouse.
  • Enhancement of existing models to ensure compliance with best practices around master data management.
  • Design, develop, document and articulate architecture of the enterprise data warehouse.
  • Evaluate reusability of current solutions for additional analysis, while maintaining integrity and confidentiality of information in accordance with a minimum viable product.
  • Design and develop processes to perform complex Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) processes.
  • Provide guidance in the creation and refinement of agile technical stories for data architecture and development.
  • Participate in discussions to document database standards and procedures for the definition of reference architecture.
  • Work closely with and provide daily direction and instruction to existing team members assisting with data warehousing project.
  • Work closely with Data Quality group to ensure compliance with established data governance and quality standards.
  • Create and maintain documentation and procedures necessary to comply with corporate policies regarding data security, backup requirements, and proper controls.
  • Other projects as assigned.


  • 10+ years’ experience in developing data integration projects.
  • 10+ years’ experience in managing large-scale data warehouse applications.
  • Bachelor’ s degree in Engineering, Science, Math or related field from an accredited institution
  • Experience with complex database environments (more than 25 databases), data standardization programs, on-line metadata engines, implementing OLAP applications, redesign of legacy databases
  • Expert-level experience in relational databases and ETL/data integration concepts, with a specific focus on Microsoft technologies (SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS)
  • Experience with developing data integration strategies and implementing data standardization programs in complex database environments
  • Experience in delivering solutions using Agile and supporting tools like Jira or Target Process
  • Experience in designing well performing solutions with an ability to tune data warehouse objects for efficiency and accuracy
  • Strong Communication Skills
  • Expertise with Microsoft Office applications – Excel, Word, Outlook, and VBE


Preferred Qualifications
  • Property and Casualty Insurance Experience Preferred
