We are currently looking for a Client Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Management of complex computing environments.
- Maintenance, administration, management, and deployment of Windows OS/infrastructure; SCCM, Domain maintenance, Intune, and familiarity with azure.
- Management of Microsoft Security Patch/Hot Fix installation.
- Creation and administration of user profile and access credentials
- Maintenance and administration of DNS, IIS, FTP and other network services.
- Maintain and update anti-spam and anti-virus applications.
- 24/7 On call support for Mission Critical service issues
- Maintenance and administration of server hardware and software inventories and documentations.
- Responding to user queries, answering questions, and resolving hardware and software problems.
- Responding to IT related trouble tickets reported.
- Responding to server resources monitoring alerts using Nagios a/PRTG/Solwarwinds and able to respond to alerts via text, cell or email
- Complete miscellaneous projects as assigned by manager.
- Fundamental knowledge of TCP/IP networks and troubleshooting tools
- Diagnose performance problems using available standard performance tools and system indicators
- In-depth knowledge and experience in troubleshooting, problem determination, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills
- Superior analytical skills to assess and resolve issues in a complex technical environment.
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently, efficiently, and effectively to resolve client concerns/issues
- Strong attention to detail in a structured environment
Required Qualifications
- College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science and/or 3 years equivalent work experience
- Proven experience in technology planning, organization and development
- Familiarity with information security vulnerabilities and risk management
- Knowledgeable to a technical level in a wide range of technologies and methodologies
- basic familiarity with Linux
- PowerShell/ansible experience preferred.
- Hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience
- Working technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and standards
