We are currently looking for a Business Architect to join our team.
Works with senior business and technical staff to map key processes, information flows, and technical capabilities to business functions to develop an integrated enterprise view of business processes.
Participates in strategy development, including environmental analysis, opportunity identification, business cases and business innovation portfolio development, in order to develop, publish, and maintain functional capability models of the business.
Fosters business innovation by providing a model for understanding the functions, processes, and roles that make up the business.
Collaborates with technology architects to ensure business and technical architecture alignment.
Participates in business and technical discussions on future architecture direction in order to inform and influence technology improvements.
Improves business efficiency and competitiveness by revealing opportunities for automation, consolidation, and cross-area collaboration.
Contributes to strategy and planning across the business and technology functions by identifying opportunities for increasing speed and efficiency.
Develops, maintains and governs the business architecture across the organization through policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures.
Leads, consults or oversees multiple business architecture engagements.
Provides leadership, guidance and mentoring to business analysts and project managers.
Bachelor’ s degree specializing in business, related computer technology, or equivalent combination of education and/or directly related work experience.
Typically has 7 years of experience with all aspects of a project from design through development, testing, implementation, and production with extensive technical breadth through experience in application development.
Working knowledge of more than one business architecture design method, such as Business Capability Mapping and Process Modeling, Value Chain Models and Customer Journey Map.
Experience with the U.S. Payments system strongly preferred.
