Job Description

Adaptive Solutions Group is a premier provider of information technology personnel. We provide a variety of technical professionals available for contract, contract to hire, or direct placement positions to companies in and around the Kansas City and St. Louis, areas.

We are currently looking for a Business Analyst to join our team.


Responsibilities
  • The analyst works with business users to understand requirements/expectations and facilitates interaction with different functional groups within the organization. This includes evaluation of the current state, gap analysis, recommendation development, and coordination of operational deployment needs including documenting, training, reporting, and monitoring of the experience throughout deployment.
  • Act as a process improvement practitioner by leading efforts to enhance processes, reduce waste, and increase effectiveness.
  • Document the current state and propose future state business processes.
  • Collaborates with internal customers, and technical and architecture teams to solve complex problems with technology solutions and automation.
  • Implement new processes, evaluate existing processes, and recommend optimal solutions and improvements.
  • Provide regular readouts on initiative progress to the Manager/Director/ of Billing Strategy and Design.
  • Assess requirements for internal business processes, ensuring compatibility with organizational strategic goals.
  • Partner with process owners and management on strategic initiatives with minimal guidance.

Required Qualifications
  • Experience with SDLC (Waterfall and/or AGILE), Network / Servers, Support and application maintenance, experience with Word, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint, and Visio a plus
  • PMP certification or Six Sigma Green Belt; or higher required.
  • Practical project management experience (5-7 years) with full responsibility for project delivery and management.
  • Any relevant Cyber Security Certifications is a bonus (Security+, CCSP, CISSP, etc.)
  • Ability to manage triple constraint and PM fundamentals
  • Ability to organize and manage tasks and requests in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to critically analyze a business situation and assist in developing solutions.
  • Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams.
  • Ability to communicate at a project level clearly and accurately.
  • Competency with PM tools and techniques (word, excel, PPT, Visio, project, etc.)
  • Desire to learn and be part of the solution.
