We are currently looking for an Application Developer to join our team.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain custom, web-based applications using modern technologies and coding practices.
Undertake complex projects requiring specialized technical knowledge and innovative thinking.
Conduct workflow study and analysis of business practices.
Analyze and document existing processes as they relate to information technology solutions.
Facilitate code reviews and enforce code standards.
Develop and execute test plan development.
Research and evaluate new technology, products, specialized hardware, and tools to optimize development and functionality of applications.
Make recommendations to management and customers.
Assist in ensuring team members complete tasks as assigned taking corrective action to stay on schedule.
Provide support.
Support complex operational activities and recoveries.
Coordinate with software vendors and external service providers.
Troubleshoot escalated software bugs and provide fixes.
Provide off hours support, as needed.
Provide leadership, cultivate, and foster excellent customer service.
Enforce adherence to departmental standards.
Instruct, train, and guide less experienced staff.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
5-7 years relevant technology experience.
Strong troubleshooting skills.
Experience with: Atlassian suite (Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, Bamboo), Back-end development GitHub Writing unit tests, Writing APIs Microsoft Technologies (.NET Framework, SQL Server, and Azure cloud implementations) .NET Core (.NET 5/6) Angular TypeScript.
Proficiency in: HTML, JavaScript, CSS, C#, MS SQL Server.
Always support teammates and in any way necessary to maintain a productive, energetic, efficient, and dynamic team.
Communicates effectively and frequently both verbally and in writing with other members of the team.
Collaborates with other teammates to provide assistance and expertise as well as to receive expert input and assistance from others delivering the best solution and experience for the customer.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Atlassian suite (Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, Bamboo).
Experience with back-end development.
Experience with GitHub.
Experience writing unit tests.
Experience writing APIs.
Proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, CSS.
Experience in Microsoft Technologies (.NET Framework, SQL Server, and Azure cloud implementations).
Bachelor's in a technical discipline.
Prior experience in a higher education technology environment.
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, plus 3 years relevant technology experience or equivalent combination of education & experience.
Skills: C, CSS, Retail Sales, GITHUB, Unit Tests, HTML, JIRA, Coding Standards, MS .NET, Coding, Typescript, Confluence, JavaScript, .NET, MS SQL Server, Customer Service Oriented, Web Based.
Certifications & Licenses: Proficiency in C, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, MS SQL Server.
