Job Description
Adaptive Solutions Group is a premier provider of information technology personnel. We provide a variety of technical professionals available for contract, contract-to-hire, or direct placement positions to companies in and around the Kansas City and St. Louis areas.
We are currently looking for an Accounting Generalist to join our team.

We are currently looking for an Accounting Generalist to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Verify and process vendor invoices, oversee payment schedules, and ensure records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Manage customer invoicing, track incoming payments, and handle collections where necessary.
- Assist with the reconciliation of general ledger accounts, process journal entries, and support both month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Contribute to the preparation of financial statements and reports for internal review and analysis.
- Ensure that all accounting activities comply with company policies and relevant regulatory standards.
- Provide general support to the accounting team, assisting with other accounting-related tasks as required.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Proficiency in accounting software and Excel
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to quickly adapt to new systems and processes.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
