Job Description

Adaptive Solutions Group is a premier provider of information technology personnel. We provide a variety of technical professionals available for contract, contract to hire, or direct placement positions to companies in and around the Kansas City and St. Louis areas.

We are currently looking for a .NET Software Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities
  • Seeking an experienced Software Engineer to lead and support the continued development of SmartAsset, a cloud-based SaaS offering that tracks Equipment & Assets for mobile service-based companies, such as landscape contractors.
  • SmartAsset is built on 18+ years of successful employee mobile production and time tracking across 100’s of service-based companies in the landscape industry. Our goal is to leverage this foundational software and knowledge to become the leading provider of Equipment tracking for the landscape contracting industry. This is an emerging market, with a strong business, need, for which we will be creating the standards.
  • SmartAsset uses a variety of data collection sources that consolidate and summarize important Equipment metrics and insights such as: where equipment is currently located, which crew equipment is with, which equipment has been left on a job site or is missing, the productivity of equipment while on job sites, cost of ownership, and provides tangible data in which to make capital expenditure decisions. 
  • Future development opportunities are plentiful to continue advancing the value of SmartAsset to our users. This includes integrating with take-off & estimating software, budget vs. actual project management software, asset amortization tools, equipment maintenance programs, third-party traditional fleet telematic systems, and equipment manufacturers.

Qualifications
  • Be a part of a team that designs and builds a scalable, resilient, and highly performant application.
  • Embrace the agile mindset and work with the team to improve processes and performance.
  • Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices.
  • Experience working with Azure DevOps is a plus.
  • Ability to mentor lowerlevel engineers.
  • Report to team and management status and delays.
  • Work well with minimal direction and supervision.
  • Prefer an entrepreneurial business environment which encourages creativity, leadership, and selfdrive.
