Job Description
Adaptive Solutions Group is a premier provider of information technology personnel. We provide a variety of technical professionals available for contract, contract to hire, or direct placement positions to companies in and around the Kansas City and St. Louis areas.
We are currently looking for an Azure Architect to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement Azure landing zones that align with best practices for enterprise environments.
- Develop and enforce enterprise governance strategies, utilizing Azure Blueprints and ensuring high availability through geo-replication.
- Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards within Azure.
- Design and implement Virtual Network (VNet) architectures, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Manage identity and access using Azure Active Directory and related services.
- Develop and implement Azure Policy to ensure compliance and governance across resources.
- Organize and manage Azure Management Groups and subscriptions to optimize resource allocation and cost.
- Utilize Azure Monitor for performance tracking and resource optimization.
- Implement Azure Resource tagging strategies to facilitate cost management and reporting.
- Participate in enterprise-level deployment projects, ensuring seamless integration and functionality across platforms.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Azure Architect or in a similar role with extensive knowledge of Azure services.
- Strong understanding of Azure computers, storage, networking, and databases.
- Experience in designing and implementing Azure landing zones.
- Familiarity with enterprise governance, including Azure Blueprints and high-availability solutions.
- Knowledge of security and compliance standards relevant to Azure environments.
- Experience in designing and implementing Virtual Networks (VNet) and associated security best practices.
- Proficient in identity and access management within Azure.
- Familiarity with Azure Policy and governance strategies.
- Experience managing Azure Management Groups and subscriptions.
- Strong skills in Azure Monitor, resource tagging, and cost management strategies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools within Azure.
- Familiarity with automation tools like Azure DevOps, ARM templates, or Terraform.
