Job Description

Adaptive Solutions Group is a premier provider of information technology personnel. We provide a variety of technical professionals available for contract, contract to hire, or direct placement positions to companies in and around the Kansas City and St. Louis areas.

We are currently looking for a Proposal Writer to join our team.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the coordination, development, and presentation of security questionnaires, vendor assessments, and RFP/RFI response material.
  • Accurately and concisely conveys company and technical information products/solutions, meeting all deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 
  • While facilitating multiple projects at one time, the Proposal Writer will communicate progress and ensure that deadlines are met.
  • Tracking – Tracks project status, deadlines, and addenda for assigned assessments, questionnaires, and proposal requests (for example, RFPs, RFIs, and technical assessments).
  • Review/Triage – Upon assignment, reviews, and triages project documents and requirements (as applicable).
  • Knowledgebase – Supports the proposal content knowledgebase (RFPIO), keeping it up to date and accurate.
  • Writing – Create and provide responses to project requirements based on product knowledge, RFPIO content, research and knowledge of the prospect gained via the Request an Expert information, and directly from the sales team and/or other sources.
  • Editing – Demonstrate competency in editing for content, tone, accuracy, key messages, one voice, and win themes.
  • Proofreading – Proofread work to eliminate typos, grammatical errors, formatting issues, and response completeness.
  • Research – Possess an understanding of technical topics and be able to independently research and comprehend technologies to provide accurate and comprehensive responses.
  • Project Management – Work closely with Sales and other departments to determine responsibilities and timelines to ensure all content is delivered accurately, entirely, and on time.
Required Qualifications
  • Excellent time management, resource organization and priority establishment skills, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of desktop applications and Microsoft Office Suite, including the proven ability to manage Word style templates.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and exemplary organizational skills.
  • Positive, pro-active, and a “can-do” attitude.
  • Ability to write quickly, accurately, and concisely.
  • Capability to work with cross-functional teams and around potential obstacles to get the details necessary to ensure completeness and accuracy of all response content.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with proven ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Be creative and initiative.
  • Ability to identify problems and/or inefficiencies and independently offer/implement practical solutions.
  • Consistently exhibit behaviors in line with Core Values.
  • Degree in marketing, communications, journalism, business, or relevant degree with a minimum of two years relevant experience in proposal management or related field required.
  • Healthcare technology experience strongly desired.
  • Technical and security technology experience strongly desired.
  • Prior Salesforce and RFP software (RFPIO preferred) experience is strongly desired.
