Job Description
Adaptive Solutions Group is a premier provider of information technology personnel. We provide a variety of technical professionals available for contract, contract to hire, or direct placement positions to companies in and around the Kansas City and St. Louis areas.
We are currently looking for a Sr. Business Analyst to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Lead ongoing reviews of business processes in all lines of business to document current state and develop optimization strategies.
- Analyze business process issues, bottlenecks, recommend, and assist implementing improvements where applicable.
- Work with project chaperone teams to scope and document project objectives.
- Engage with vendors as needed to support project implementations.
- Write clear and well-structured business requirements/documents.
- Provide ongoing project status reports to leadership as needed.
- Communicate and validate requirements with relevant stakeholders.
- Perform data discovery, analysis, and modeling.
- Collaborate with leadership on project roadmap planning and prioritization.
- Assist with user acceptance testing and writing users scripts as new product functionality is rolled out.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills coupled with the ability to tailor communication to all levels of an organization.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle, and configuration, change and release management principles and concepts.
- Hands-on knowledge of current technology standards/trends coupled with a desire to continually expand personal knowledge/skills.
- Experience writing test cases and test plans.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Agile Methodologies.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business or other related field is highly desired.
- Seven (7+) years of IT Business Analysis or similar role where writing technical documentation and developing processes in collaboration with technology/non-technology stakeholders was required.
