Responsibilities
- Responsible for enhancements & support of client file mapping data transformations with Informatica PowerCenter.
- Able to provide technical expertise throughout the entire software life cycle including:
- Data Analysis
- Data Transformation Design
- Estimation / Planning
- Implementation
- Unit / Integration Testing
- Operational Support
- Enjoy solving complex data challenges, working with international teams, and believe customer relationship skills are essential for providing effective IT solutions.
- Apply Informatica PowerCenter ETL expertise to deliver client file mapping solutions.
- Ability to work independently through a full system development life cycle while providing estimates, status, deliverables, and results.
- Key contributor to planning sessions and demonstrate ability to elicit implied requirements.
- Provide technical and/or business application consultation of complex product systems to business partners and team members.
- Balance application change risk with business need for timely product enhancements.
- Engage technical analysts and business users to provide input on test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
- Engage other IT teams outside of immediate group as required (product integration points, infrastructure, helpdesk, security).
- Provide technical analysis, coordinate technical specifications, and perform solution gap analysis.
- Perform data analyses, create ETL mappings, create data models, develop ETL processes, execute unit test plans and document results, execute integration test plans and document results, and coordinate migrations and implementations.
- Responsible for quality design, delivery, and release of operational enhancements including performance, stability, & resiliency.
- Ensure operational health of business cycle data jobs stream (monitoring / escalation / response).
- Identify and rapidly resolve issues to enable business operations.
- Ensure timely investigation and response regarding user questions about system functionality.
- Develop and maintain effective customer relationships.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience.
- 4+ years of experience implementing ETL applications with heavy relational database integration.
- 2+ years of complex Data Analysis experience.
- Advanced ability to translate business needs and problems into systems’ design and technical solutions.
- Strong knowledge of data transformation frameworks, relational database design, test methodologies, operating systems, networking concepts, and systems integration.
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, demonstrating an ability to communicate effectively with local and international teams.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn across business and technology domains.

- Tidal Enterprise Scheduler
- Oracle PL/SQL
- TOAD
- UNIX Scripting
- Automated Testing
- Insurance and/or reinsurance industry knowledge.
- LOMA certification.
