Job Description
Adaptive Solutions Group is a premier provider of information technology personnel. We provide a variety of technical professionals available for contract, contract to hire, or direct placement positions to companies in and around the Kansas City and St. Louis areas.
We are currently looking for a Scrum Master III to join our team.
Responsibilities
- In-depth knowledge in job discipline and basic knowledge in related disciplines. Works independently to solve complex problems.
- Leads and has accountability for projects and provides informal leadership to less experienced colleagues.
- Mobilizes new Agile Teams. Trains new teams in Agile practices/principles. Trains teams about customers Agile Scrum Guardrails and process flows.
- Develops training for product owners and teams for use in the agile working tool of choice.
- Conduct Agile Fit assessments and Mobilization Working Agreement sessions with project/initiative leadership.
- Champions the Project Management Office (PMO) methodology and participates in methodology refresh and enhancement opportunities.
- Helps with logistics, facilitates the team to problem solve and tweak processes to drive team velocity and ensure full team engagement.
- Facilitates getting the work down by removing impediments by developing the right skills within the team. Supports customers change control process.
- Facilitates Agile Metrics definition and application. Strong agile knowledge and skills (for agile-specific roles) including: Knowledge of agile (Jira, Rally, ServiceNow, etc.) tools.
- Scrum meeting facilitation.
- Software development methodologies.
- Ability to assist team on Agile practices and ensure adherence to agile methodology to deliver max business value.
- Understanding how to help agile teams iterate and develop next Minimum Viable Products (MVP).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 5+ years experience performing in multiple agile roles. 2+ years of relevant Scrum Master or Agile Team experience required.
- Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), Project Management Institute Agile Certified Professional (PMI ACP), or other leading agile certification is required.
