We are currently looking for a Project Management Department Manager to join our team.

We are currently looking for a Project Management Department Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic plan for the project management department, aligning it with organizational objectives.
- Provide leadership to the project management team, setting clear objectives and performance standards.
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Implement and optimize project management methodologies, tools, and best practices for improved efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and make necessary adjustments to ensure successful outcomes.
- Research and devise solutions for issues such as incorrect materials, warranty claims, shortages, and installation errors.
- Recruit, train, and develop project managers and detailers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and mentoring to support team members' professional growth.
- Allocate resources across projects based on requirements, skills, and organizational priorities.
- Manage the departmental budget efficiently to support project goals.
- Ensure projects meet company standards and compliance requirements by implementing quality control processes.
- Conduct post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and improve future project planning and execution.
- Foster innovation within the team, exploring new tools and processes to enhance project delivery.
- Continuously assess and enhance project management practices to adapt to evolving organizational needs and industry trends.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3-5 years of project management experience in commercial construction
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams of at least 5 individuals.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent negotiation and presentation abilities
- Proficiency in Division 8 and Division 10 products and services.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, detailing software (e.g., PRO-TECH, EPWS), Bluebeam, and ERP software (e.g., cERP, NetSuite, Acumatica)
