We are currently looking for a Sr. .NET Developer to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Working well with senior engineers, business analysts and team managers on production support to keep them informed about incident reports and relevant updates.
- Code and successfully perform unit and integration testing of software to ensure proper and efficient execution as well as compliance to the business and technical requirements.
- Provide instruction and guidance to less senior team members on new tasks and assignments; ensure deadlines are met.
- Collaborate with Architects and Management to recommend adjustments to the architecture to improve the overall quality of a solution.
- Represent team within and outside own department.
- Assist with project planning; provide technical recommendations to project teams.
- Work on medium, complex assignments
- Establish and monitor key performance metrics and define and implement improvements that adhere to established standards and meet service level agreements.
- Establish, maintain, and foster relationships both within and outside the team and department.
Required Qualifications
- Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
- Minimum 3+ years of development experience
- Proficient at developing and managing server-side applications using C# and .NET technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or a related field
- Familiar with object-oriented application development principles, theories, and concepts
- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices for the full software development life cycle including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and Operations.
- working knowledge of and experience with full server-side stack (C#, Entity Framework, RESTFUL API, WCF, IIS)
- Experience with modern front-end development (AngularJS, Vue, JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
- Comfortable writing client-side (Jasmine, Jest, etc.) and server-side unit tests
- Solid knowledge of relational database platforms (SQL Server, Oracle, PostGres)
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software (VBA in MS Access, Excel, etc.)
