We provide a variety of professionals available for contract, contract-to-hire, or direct placement positions to companies in and around the St. Louis and Kansas City areas. We are currently looking for a Staff Accountant to join our team.

We provide a variety of professionals available for contract, contract-to-hire, or direct placement positions to companies in and around the St. Louis and Kansas City areas. We are currently looking for a Staff Accountant to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Reconcile sub-ledger accounts to the general ledger
- Participate in the month-end close process
- Create and post journal entries and perform other general accounting functions
- Conduct research and utilize analytical problem-solving
- Prepare financial summaries and ad hoc reporting for management as needed
- Assist with external audits, including the preparation of schedules
- Respond to internal inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Exercise strong attention to detail, organization, and reliability
- Work effectively independently and in a team environment
- Support special projects and other assigned duties
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 2–4 years of accounting experience (general ledger reconciliation, journal entries, month-end close)
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize workload and manage deadlines
- Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and initiative
- Commitment to collaboration in a team-centric environment
- Public accounting experience
- CPA designation
- Experience working in a project-based or high-volume environment
