Job Description

Adaptive Solutions Group is a premier provider of information technology personnel. We provide a variety of technical professionals available for contract, contract to hire, or direct placement positions to companies in and around the Kansas City and St. Louis areas.

We are currently looking for a Senior Enterprise Architect to join our team.


Responsibilities
  • Lead a variety of enterprise transformation programs focused on technology solutions through all delivery lifecycle stages of a typical implementation or upgrade.
  • Review existing configurations, technology, and processes to develop recommendations for improved processes, technology, and solutions for clients’ operations.
  • Ensure enterprise strategies are created for our clients that clearly communicate industry best practices that support our client's business and technology objectives.
  • Develop and provide recommendations for technology adoption and implementation, tailored to clients’ needs and strategic objectives for its enterprise systems.
  • Lead client enterprise initiatives, incorporating input from technology partners and client stakeholders to provide technological solutions.
  • Consult on current and emerging application architectures and supporting integration technologies and data practices to ensure the delivery of quality Enterprise solutions in both Information Technology (IT) and Operations Technology (OT) domains to meet client objectives.
  • Oversee the identification and classification of emergent technologies to ensure they align with the strategic goals and capabilities of the client’s organization.
  • Ensure the preparation of enterprise integration solution proposals, including developing technical specifications, technical approaches, team qualifications, cost estimates, and schedules in response to client requests for proposals.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with our clients through high level enterprise architecture discussions and discovery strategies pertaining to the electric utility industry focusing on IT and OT applications technologies.
  • Identify, write, and present enterprise architecture strategies and technical papers, white papers, and presentations for industry conference and publications.
  • Consult on network architecture (application/technology/data) and project execution processes.
  • Responsible for managing the development of cost proposals and qualification statements to achieve stated targets and standards for financial performance.
  • Lead workshops with clients to identify issues with existing configurations and processes.
  • Lead functional and technical aspects of proposed solutions from inception through delivery.
  • Lead quality checks to support a successful solution deployment.
  • Evaluate delivery process, technical solutions and training procedures and make improvements to facilitate the best possible customer experience.
  • Build effective relationships with existing clients, customers, and contractors and develop new business opportunities. Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction goals and expectations are met.
  • Participate in sales and marketing efforts and identify critical pursuits.
  • Participate in the development of proposals and qualification statements to achieve stated targets and standards for financial performance.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and instruction to the department by mentoring less experienced staff.
  • Responsible for QA/QC process adherence.
  • Responsible for effective communication with other disciplines.
  • Responsible for compliance with company and site safety policies.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field from an accredited program is required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience.
  • Enterprise architecture and integration skills, including areas such as data architecture, cloud architecture, middleware, communications, and other architectural methods and practices.
  • Understanding of current and emerging associated technologies to manage and deliver quality enterprise solutions in both Information Technology (IT) and Operations Technology (OT) domains to meet client objectives.
  • Experience with a variety of project execution methodologies.
  • Experience with leading-edge application(s), operations technology, and solutions utilizing various industry standard tools.
  • Experience developing executive-level technology assessments, roadmap strategies focusing on enterprise and/or operation technologies.
  • Strong ability to influence or lead project execution.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
