Job Description

Adaptive Solutions Group is a premier provider of information technology personnel. We provide a variety of technical professionals available for contract, contract to hire, or direct placement positions to companies in and around the Kansas City and St. Louis areas.

We are currently looking for a Business Analyst to join our team.


Responsibilities 
  • Develops, interprets, reviews, validates, documents, and maintains business and functional requirements.
  • Coordinates and facilitates meetings to define key capabilities and requirements that will enable stakeholders to define business strategy.
  • Evaluates business requests to determine feasibility; researches and identifies options that best serve business needs.
  • Provides information about how requirements may affect functional design documents.
  • Serves as the primary interface between the user and the IT team; may be required to present formally.
  • presentations to end users, stakeholders, and management.
  • Conducts structured walkthroughs of requirements with business and project team members.
  • Participates in acceptance testing to ensure client/user needs are met.
  • Presents information regarding enhancements and tracks and responds to questions from business and IT team members.
  • Identifies potential problems that may arise with new or enhanced applications; communicates how problems will affect business.
  • Writes business correspondence and technical reports; reviews report results for accuracy.
  • Possesses general knowledge of the IT environment and the company’s lines of business.
  • Assists with researching opportunities to minimize complexity by leveraging current IT investments and seeking out cost-effective solutions.
  • Participates in change management activities, including Q&A testing, troubleshooting, and investigation.
  • Assists with task automation and process improvements as directed.
  • Maintains established service level agreements to meet customer expectations and quality standards.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with a track record of successful project contributions.
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to work with data and identify trends and patterns.
  • Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Detail-oriented and organized with strong documentation skills.
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in business analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA).
  • Familiarity with business analysis software and tools.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
