Job Description

Adaptive Solutions Group is a premier provider of information technology personnel. We provide a variety of technical professionals available for contract, contract to hire, or direct placement positions to companies in and around the Kansas City and St. Louis areas.

We are currently looking for a Senior Solutions Consultant to join our team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide oversight, direction, and act as the subject matter expert for the Project Management Information Systems.
  • Work alongside project managers to implement data management solutions, web-based applications, and complex software solutions.
  • Makes decisions regarding implementation, configuration, and installation of software applications at customers and internally.
  • Work closely with IT resources for administration, testing, tuning, monitoring, maintenance, and upgrades to software applications.
  • Responsible for performance optimization and monitoring system health.
  • Managing source code using Git or similar version control technology.
  • Leads application development and implementation on one or more computing platforms.
  • Reviews solutions and provides input for build or buy recommendations.
  • Reviews requirements for application interfaces and implements them.
  • Responsible for all phases of project application development documentation.
  • Responsible for following programming and standards software development methodology.
  • Responsible for ensuring that team follows program standards, development methodology, and project management techniques.
  • Working with globally distributed teams.
  • Ability to articulate rationale behind technical decisions.

  • Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, any Engineer discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years’ full lifecycle development experience as a backend developer in C# or 5 years’ frontend development with modern JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, Aurelia, etc.).
  • At least 3+ years with ETL tools like Azure Datafactory, FME, or similar.
  • 3+ years .NET core experience.
  • At least 3 years’ experience with relational or NoSQL databases (SQL Server is highly preferred).
  • At least 3 years’ experience with HTML, CSS, jQuery, Bootstrap is required.
  • Experience integrating multiple data sources using ETL technology or using APIs (Application Programming Interfaces).
  • Knowledge of Python libraries like Pandas and NumPy and C# .NET.
  • Knowledge and implementation of RESTful Web Services.
  • Experience in an Agile Scrum environment as a developer.
  • Mentoring/coaching junior developers.
  • Ability to excel in ambiguous and fluid environments.
  • Ability to work independently, think creatively and analytically, and make quick and sound decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Expert user of Microsoft office.
  • Excellent understanding and knowledge of Program/Project Management Tools, Project Management Information Systems (PMIS), Integration, and Data Management.
  • Energy/Utilities experience with application support and development.
  • Familiarity with Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms highly desired.
  • Familiarity with Program Management Information Systems is highly desired.
  • Experience with CI/CD and Docker environments desired.
  • Experience with TypeScript is desirable.
