Adaptive Solutions Group is seeking a Software Sr. Engineer / Technical Leader to join our team.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and support software solutions that deliver reliable, high-impact results.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define architecture, requirements, and technical solutions.
Contribute to high-level design discussions and ensure best practices in application lifecycle management.
Implement and support CI/CD processes and DevOps practices.
Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Create and maintain technical documentation in alignment with established practices.
Apply Agile or Scrum methodologies in a fast-paced development environment.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Eight or more years of software development experience, including at least two years in CI/CD and DevOps.
Strong front-end development experience using Angular.
Proficiency in Java development with Spring, Spring Boot, Tomcat/Jetty, and JUnit.
Experience with multi-threaded server-side programming, HTTPS protocol, and Web Services.
Skilled in relational database design and development (PostgreSQL preferred) with JPA/Hibernate.
Familiarity with software design concepts, object-oriented analysis, design patterns, and lifecycle management.
Proficiency with version control systems such as Git or GitLab.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Gherkin/Cucumber or Selenium.
Knowledge of Windows scripting (PowerShell, Command Batch).
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
Familiarity with build and integration systems (Gradle, Maven).
Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Python).
Windows/Linux administration and scripting knowledge.
Virtualization management experience (VMware).
Exposure to additional version control tools (e.g., Perforce).
Familiarity with package managers (Chocolatey, NuGet).
Experience with backup/restore tools and Windows image management.
Background with automation frameworks and cloud-based build/release infrastructure (AWS preferred).
