Job Description

Adaptive Solutions Group is a premier provider of information technology personnel. We provide a variety of technical professionals available for contract, contract to hire, or direct placement positions to companies in and around the St. Louis and Kansas City Areas, as well as remote opportunities.

We are currently looking for a Software Engineer to join the team.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the design and architecture of our platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Assist in scaling the platform and implementing new features to meet growing demands and user needs.
  • Develop innovative algorithms to address complex challenges encountered in our domain.
  • Create robust tooling for data management and process automation, enhancing efficiency and reliability.
  • Conduct research and contribute to the design of future tools and techniques, staying ahead of industry trends and advancements.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems & technology, or a related field, or equivalent software engineering experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in software development with C#.
  • Proficiency in C#, including asynchronous programming techniques.
  • Familiarity with SQL Server or other relational databases for data storage and retrieval.
  • Experience with Dapper and/or Entity Framework for data access.
  • Strong understanding of REST API design principles, including building and consuming APIs.
  • Proficiency in front-end web development technologies such as HTML, CSS/Sass, and modern JavaScript frameworks, with React preferred.
  • Experience in unit testing, with a preference for XUnit, and a commitment to following SOLID principles.
  • Proficiency in source control systems, with Git preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare software is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical team members.
