Job Description
Adaptive Solutions Group is a premier provider of information technology personnel. We provide a variety of technical professionals available for contract, contract to hire, or direct placement positions to companies in and around the Kansas City and St. Louis areas.
We are currently looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team.

We are currently looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare reports, analyses, and presentations of project financial data for various levels of leadership.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to the Analytics & Reporting staff.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in financial data and analytics for department-wide goals and initiatives.
- Take the lead on projects focused on innovation and process improvement.
- Assist the Financial Analytics Manager in planning initiatives and prioritizing business and information requirements.
- Collaborate and act as a key liaison between project teams to fulfill project and business reporting needs.
- Develop and implement plans to create and improve project financial data models and reports.
- Translate data requirements into practical usage for stakeholders.
- Ad-hoc Project Focus- taking data from Finance & Business departments (P&L Data or Gross Profit Data) and surfacing through Power BI Dashboards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Etc.
- Minimum of eight (8) years related accounting experience
- Strong functional understanding of data models and available reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, Excel, etc.)
- Power BI is a MUST
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Technically familiar with data models, data combing, and advanced formulas in excel
- Robust analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with data models, data mining and segmentation
- SQL experience
- CPA or MBA
