We are currently looking for an Scrum Master to join our team.
Responsibilities
Facilitate and lead the whole Agile process for your dedicated squad
Organize and facilitate daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning meetings, sprint review meetings, and sprint retrospective meetings.
Anticipate and remove any impediments that may be hindering the progress of the squad
Work closely with Product and Solution Owners to ensure that the products’ backlog is efficiently maintained and prioritized
Coach squads’ members in their adoption of Agile practices, while encouraging members to continuously improve and strive for excellence
Ensure the right level of adoption of Agile principles and practices across dedicated squads (e.g., collective responsibility, autonomy, the right level of coordination of both Product and Solution Owners)
Coach other stakeholders on Scrum framework and Agile mindset
Contribute to the Scrum Master community to share knowledge and expertise
Required Qualifications
At least 3 years of experience as an Agile Scrum Master, with significant and proven experience facilitating the delivery of complex projects
Strong cross-functional background (as opposed to being an expert in one area) and have seen a variety of different business situations and challenges during their career
Hands-on individual with a doer mentality
Sound knowledge of (re)insurance business
Strong experience of business & IT agile ways of working
While no specific tech-oriented hard skill is necessary for the role, an understanding of technology and data landscape and how it can help the transformation is crucial
Proficiency with Azure DevOps,
Result and problem-solving oriented
Energy, drive and desire to work in a “multi-projects” approach and a multi-cultural environment
Ability to create highly engaged and motivated teams through outstanding facilitation skills
Ability to influence senior stakeholders, credibility and confidence working at senior levels in the organization
Willing to take initiative
Interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
Team spirit and wish to collaborate with various stakeholders within the company
Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as computer science, information technology, computer engineering or another closely related discipline
