Job Description
Adaptive Solutions Group is a premier provider of information technology personnel. We provide a variety of technical professionals available for contract, contract-to-hire, or direct placement positions to companies in and around the Kansas City and St. Louis areas, as well as with remote opportunities.
We are currently looking for a QA Tester to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver, Java, and C#.
- Utilize SQL Server Management Studio to create and execute SQL queries for database testing.
- Conduct thorough UI testing to identify defects and ensure a seamless user experience.
- Plan and prioritize test activities, including test execution, defect tracking, and reporting.
- Implement and maintain automated test frameworks to streamline testing processes.
- Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure quality deliverables.
- Communicate testing progress, findings, and issues effectively to project managers and team members.
- Participate in agile/scrum meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of our QA processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
- Proven experience in automation testing, including writing and executing automated test scripts.
- Proficiency in SQL query writing and database testing using SQL Server Management Studio.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing processes, and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with Selenium WebDriver and programming languages such as Java and/or C#.
- Ability to effectively communicate testing concepts and results to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Solid organizational and time management skills to prioritize workload effectively.
Preferred Skills:
- Some programming experience beyond scripting, ideally in Java or C#.
- Familiarity with other testing tools and technologies.
- Experience working in an agile development environment.
