Job Description

Adaptive Solutions Group is a premier provider of information technology personnel. We provide a variety of technical professionals available for contract, contract to hire, or direct placement positions to companies in and around the Kansas City and St. Louis areas.

We are currently looking for a Project Manager IV to join our team.

Responsibilities
  • Comfortable working with Engineering teams building the technical solution AND product teams defining the underlying business case.
  • Must have working knowledge of the Wi-Fi technology including the major components to deliver service (APs, Switches, DHCP, NAT/PAT, and Management).
  • Experience with Hot Spot 2.0/ Passpoint service is a plus.
  • Manages the entire project lifecycle from project definition through implementation.
  • Accountable for meeting agreed upon scope, cost, schedule, and quality measures.
  • Develops project plan and drives project milestones.
  • Establishes effective communication plan with project team and key stakeholders.
  • Provides day-to-day direction to project resources.
  • Ensures effective change management occurs throughout the course of the project.
  • Responsible for preparation of documentation, status reports, and budgets.
  • Role requires excellent oral and written communications, interpersonal, negotiation, project planning, judgment, leadership, decision-making, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
  • Possess Technical understanding and knowledge of the relevant industry and ability to provide product specific technical training to the team.
  • Specialized knowledge of MS Project, Visio, Excel, Word.
  • Requires demonstrated subject matter expertise in the specified area.
  • 7 + with specialized skill years of experience.
  • Drives product definition, development, implementation, and use cases across the portfolio and domains.
  • Drives enhancements to existing products and defines integration areas.
  • Drives integration of the product portfolios lifecycles to business unit goals across all phases of the product portfolio (Cradle to Grave Approach).
  • Owns the product and overall user experience for product launches, enhancements, and break-fix.
  • Drives and documents Product Requirements (PRD) and prioritizes based on business needs.
  • Product Roadmap Planning knowledge.
  • Ability to develop strategic roadmap and future needed functionality.
  • Works with across multiple orgs and drives the product’s agenda.
  • Develops and provides regular updates to management.
  • Act as the key product owner for cross functional partners and provide oversight to cross functional meetings.
  • Responsible for creating solutions and presenting compelling recommendations to customers.
  • Define operational procedures and practices.
  • Define KPIs and set up appropriate health-checks, monitoring, and escalation procedures.
  • Accelerate development for roadmap features to address specific customer requirements.
  • Identify ongoing risks and pain points throughout the project, develop, and implement mitigation measures.
  • Capture project lessons and convert them into architectural best practices applicable to the broader install base; mentor and coach the internal team through internal training sessions.
  • Work closely with Product Management and Engineering to review customer requirements and feedback and identify opportunities for platform enhancements.
  • Extensive experience with Internet technologies and protocols like TCP/IP, VPN, SSL, and HTTP.
