Responsibilities
- Comfortable working with Engineering teams building the technical solution AND product teams defining the underlying business case.
- Must have working knowledge of the Wi-Fi technology including the major components to deliver service (APs, Switches, DHCP, NAT/PAT, and Management).
- Experience with Hot Spot 2.0/ Passpoint service is a plus.
- Manages the entire project lifecycle from project definition through implementation.
- Accountable for meeting agreed upon scope, cost, schedule, and quality measures.
- Develops project plan and drives project milestones.
- Establishes effective communication plan with project team and key stakeholders.
- Provides day-to-day direction to project resources.
- Ensures effective change management occurs throughout the course of the project.
- Responsible for preparation of documentation, status reports, and budgets.
- Role requires excellent oral and written communications, interpersonal, negotiation, project planning, judgment, leadership, decision-making, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
- Possess Technical understanding and knowledge of the relevant industry and ability to provide product specific technical training to the team.
- Specialized knowledge of MS Project, Visio, Excel, Word.
- Requires demonstrated subject matter expertise in the specified area.
- 7 + with specialized skill years of experience.
- Drives product definition, development, implementation, and use cases across the portfolio and domains.
- Drives enhancements to existing products and defines integration areas.
- Drives integration of the product portfolios lifecycles to business unit goals across all phases of the product portfolio (Cradle to Grave Approach).
- Owns the product and overall user experience for product launches, enhancements, and break-fix.
- Drives and documents Product Requirements (PRD) and prioritizes based on business needs.
- Product Roadmap Planning knowledge.
- Ability to develop strategic roadmap and future needed functionality.
- Works with across multiple orgs and drives the product’s agenda.
- Develops and provides regular updates to management.
- Act as the key product owner for cross functional partners and provide oversight to cross functional meetings.
- Responsible for creating solutions and presenting compelling recommendations to customers.
- Define operational procedures and practices.
- Define KPIs and set up appropriate health-checks, monitoring, and escalation procedures.
- Accelerate development for roadmap features to address specific customer requirements.
- Identify ongoing risks and pain points throughout the project, develop, and implement mitigation measures.
- Capture project lessons and convert them into architectural best practices applicable to the broader install base; mentor and coach the internal team through internal training sessions.
- Work closely with Product Management and Engineering to review customer requirements and feedback and identify opportunities for platform enhancements.
- Extensive experience with Internet technologies and protocols like TCP/IP, VPN, SSL, and HTTP.
