Job Description

We are currently looking for an Automation Tester to join our team.

We are currently looking for an Automation Tester to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.
- Uses basic knowledge of professional concepts and company objectives to resolve simple to moderately complex issues in creative and effective ways.
- Focus is on operational and tactical activities.
- Participates on project teams.
- Develops strategies and work plans for own tasks.
- Works on small to large, moderately complex assignments.
- Prepares and delivers informal presentations to own team.
- Proactively seeks training and developmental activities related to the industry.
- Escalates complex issues, as needed; follows established escalation procedures.
- Upholds the standards, processes, and procedures.
- Establishes and fosters one-on-one relationships within the department.
- Automated and manual testing of API and Web Applications.
- Assesses and evaluates quality assurance test requirements to determine scope of functionality to be covered by testing.
- Designs, develops, and maintains automation framework
- Designs, produces, executes, and maintains software test plans and test cases based on requirements and specifications.
- Ensures software performs correctly, as specified, and meets quality and performance standards.
- Analyzes test results; leverages troubleshooting skills to identify, document, and reproduce issues; provides information to assist in defining root cause.
- Conducts re-testing after defects are addressed.
- Provides and monitors quality control checkpoints throughout the application development process.
- Summarizes and publishes test results for internal customers.
- Generates appropriate documentation for issue tracking, verification, and certification.
- Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics relevant to testing.
- Initiates and implements improvements to current processes within department.
- Assists with task automation and process improvements, as directed.
- Executes and maintains automated tests suites
- Occasional out-of-hours duties may be required to support releases in production environment.
- Protects our customers, our employees, and our brands by incorporating security and compliance in all decisions and daily job responsibilities; follows security policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Education and Experience:
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and three years of related experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Required skills & competencies:
- Experience utilizing Karate and Dev Tools for Automation testing of service applications
- SQL Server database testing
- Defect reporting and tracking to resolution.
- Working in Agile Scrum Teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Atlassian Jira and Confluence.
- Continuous Integration / Deployment
- Experience of POSTMAN for manual demonstrations
- Web application automation using Selenium
